Walhalla Goldmine

Scope of work: Performed all the off-site fabrication and on-site installation of mine ancillary equipment and infrastructure.

The 200m long skip conveyor had to be erected on a 30 degree slope.

Cranes couldn’t be used for a lot of the installation due to the slope and project requiring minimal impact on the surrounding forest.

Outcome: We developed a safe method for the installation which involved our own specialised slide trolley, crawler crane and rigging equipment.

The project was completed on time and with a safe install.
