About the project:
Scope of work: Collapse of the Morwell River tunnel diversion into the Yallourn mine in 2012 caused extensive flooding in the coal mine.
Initial emergency work included pipe and plumbing
works, site labour, steel support bridges and site installation.
Outcome: A three year project with 20 personnel, the project included complete re-build of 4 conveyor systems with head end, tail and fire service, complete relocation of M300/M400 conveyor system, and supply and installation of mine fire protection/de-watering service including pumps, pipework and floating platforms.
